St Kitts and Nevis: Miss St Peter’s Queen Pageant to feature four young contestants
All these participants are all set to showcase the vibrant culture and traditions of St Kitts and Nevis while aligning with its theme of Crime Prevention.

The Constituency #8 of St Kitts and Nevis is all set to host Miss St Peter’s Queen Pageant under the theme Crime Prevention. The authorities have unveiled four contestants who will ride on a mystical journey, showcasing their charm, elegance and beauty on 27th October 2024.
The St Peter’s Queen Pageant is a competition for all the females of age 4-19 years old. The four contestants that will be participating at the competition includes, Taeja Tate, Mikenxe Powell, Anecia Sutton and Keyah James.
All these participants are all set to showcase the vibrant culture and traditions of St Kitts and Nevis while aligning with its theme of Crime Prevention.
Taeja Tate
Taeja Alysa Tate was born on 16th June 2009. She is renowned for the 1953 Moncada Barracks Attack led by Fidel Castro. This rich, multicultural experience afforded Taeja with unique values and appreciation towards a path of academic excellence.
Teja was also the youngest participant and team captain having won the maiden “National Girls in ICT Quiz” in 2023. She has also achieved the 2023 ICCS Under 15 Victrix Ludorum and frequently interns at the distinguished HMC of Anguilla, honing her business and clinical skills in her pursuit of becoming a Neurologist.
Mikenxe Powell
She was born on 6th May, 2008 and is a 16-year-old. She enjoys swimming, creating nail art and revel in track in field and have placed in the top three (3) spots in relay competitions both in primary and high school. She recently completed dance exams from the Children’s Dance Theater (CDT) in July 2024 in which she scored in top five.
Her personal motto which she follows in her life is ““Keep going, stop doubting yourself, work hard and make it happen.”
Anecia Sutton
She is a 15-year-old who resides in a quiet mountainous community called Phillips Village, St. Kitts. She is the eldest of her mother’s four children and at an early stage understood the importance of family. She is passionate for cosmetology and has plans to open a high-end salon in her community.
In 2023, she joined Catwalk Coaching SKB Modelling Agency which gave her a tremendous boost of confidence. The St. Peters Queen Show will be her debut into the thrilling and exciting world of pageantry.
And by participating in this competition, she is aiming to gain confidence and use this platform to spread love as an effort to help combat the surge in crime and violence.
Keyah James
She is 16 years old and was born and raised on the island of Dominica. Over the years, she has proudly achieved numerous certificates in different cosmetology classes and volunteered over 200 hours at her local animal shelter in Dominica.
The personal motto that she follows in her life is “Reach for the stars and never stop dreaming,” which inspires her to push beyond her limits and pursue her ambitions. She stated that she is grateful for this opportunity to be a part of the journey to the crown.
