Second round of West Indies Championship set to begin, today
The second round of the West Indies Championship is all set to take place today, 14th February to 17th February 2024. It is to be noted that four games will be conducted at different venues.

The second round of the West Indies Championship is all set to take place today, 14th February to 17th February 2024. It is to be noted that four games will be conducted at different venues.
Jamaica Scorpions will face the Combined Campuses and Colleges team at Sabina Park in round two. Jamaicans and the players of Combined Campuses and Colleges will be looking forward to bouncing back from their respective defeats in the opening round of the West Indies four-day championship.
Moreover, Barbados Pride will compete against the Windward Islands in Kensington, CC. Both teams have won their first matches, and they will make all the possible efforts to continue their winning streak. Notably, Windward Islands Volcanoes defeated Jamaica Scorpions by 9 wickets and Barbados Pride defeated Combined Campuses and Colleges by 9 wickets.
Guyana Harpy Eagles will be facing the Leeward Islands at Warner Park. The players of Guyana were not able to showcase their talent and skills as the match was disrupted due to inclement weather conditions. However, the Guyana team is looking forward to putting up a tough fight with the players of Leeward Islands. Moreover, Leeward Island Hurricanes lost their first match, so they will also be eying on emerging victorious this time.
Trinidad and Tobago Red Force will be facing West Indies Academy at Conaree Cricket Stadium. The first match of T&T was not able to come to any conclusion. West Indies defeated Leeward Islands Hurricane by 5 wickets. Therefore, the players from West Indies Academy will come to the field with a positive mindset and vibrant energy in order to claim victory in the second round of the Championship as well.
West Indies Championship is a huge platform for all the cricketers to display their talent and skills. Such sporting events also play a crucial role in enhancing the techniques of the players.
