The team members received an opportunity to participate in an international level to expand their market and heightened the accessibility. The Routes event features various tourism stakeholders that made a way for smooth travel experience.
The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) took to their official social media handle (Facebook) to share the news with the citizens of the country.
“In a strategic move aimed at bolstering tourism and economic prospects, Saint Lucia emerges as a key player in Routes America 2024. The island nation’s participation marks a pivotal moment in its pursuit of expanded market reach and heightened accessibility”, SLTA remarked.
The local businessmen exchanged dialogues in Routes, with a focus on building new partnerships and collaborations that will facilitate smooth travel experiences.
Saint Lucia expressed their commitment to forge direct connections with various stakeholders to meet the needs of the travellers and visitors visiting the island nation.
The delegation included hotelier- Paul Collymore MIH, MSc, who is serving as a President of the Saint Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association; Thaddeus M Antoine (LLB, LLM, TEM), Chairman of the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA), Roselieu Augustin, SLTA’s Research and Planning Manager and Businessman Mario Reyes, the Chairman of the SLTA’s Airlift Committee.
Additionally, the island nation’s tourism industry is considered one of the powerful pillars of the economic growth of Saint Lucia. Considerably, the Ministry of Tourism is working diligently and dedicatedly in order to ensure the development of the country.
