Saint Lucia: Ernest Hilaire distributes hampers, vouchers to Castries South residents
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture and Information of the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia, Dr Ernest Hilaire, recently shared a glimpse of hamper and voucher distribution within his constituency.

Saint Lucia: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture and Information of the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia, Dr Ernest Hilaire, recently shared a glimpse of hamper and voucher distribution within his constituency.
Parliamentary Representative of Castries South, Hilaire, met with the people residing in his constituency and presented those vouchers and hampers.
The post by the Deputy PM read, “As Christmas draws closer, we’re finishing up our hamper and voucher distribution within the constituency today.”
Furthermore, he expressed the joy of being able to ‘bring smiles’ to the people’s faces. “It always brings me joy to see a smile on my constituent’s face during this season of giving compliments of the season to everyone and all the best in the New Year!” he said.
Earlier, he shared a glimpse and his experience with the distributing hamper on December 20, 2022. “It was Day 1, in Castries South, we started off our hamper distribution throughout the constituency for those that are sick and shut-in,” the post by the Deputy Prime Minister read.
“Christmas is about caring and giving for those around us. Compliments of the season to all!” it further stated.
The festive times in Saint Lucia have started. People have started preparing to mark the festival season. The ministries and the government of Saint Lucia have also extended official working hours during the season.
