Saint Lucia claims 2 World Travel Awards, offers magical experience for adventurous romance

Castries, Saint Lucia: It is a huge milestone for the tourism sector of Saint Lucia as the country claimed two prestigious World Travel Awards 2024 under the category of Caribbean’s Leading Honeymoon Destination and the Caribbean’s Leading Tourism Destination.

This is for the 15^th time that Saint Lucia has won the Honeymoon Destination Award and the for the 3^rd time, the island nation has been honoured with the Adventure Tourism Destination.

After winning the award, the Tourism Minister of Saint Lucia, Dr. Ernest Hilaire expressed his happiness and excitement. He stated that he is extremely proud to receive these two awards as it affirms Saint Lucia’s position as a premier destination for both romance and adventure.

He further asserted that this recognition is a testament to the unwavering commitment and dedication of the tourism authority towards providing diverse offerings, luxurious accommodations, exciting outdoor activities and rich cultural experiences to all its travellers.
