In an astonishing and eccentric incident, monkeys in Majalgaon town of Maharashtra in India took revenge on dogs by killing more than 250 dogs. This incident took place after dogs murdered a monkey infant the previous month.
The residents confirmed the incident. Locals stated that whenever monkeys grabbed the puppies, they took them to a higher place, from where they threw them.
These 250 puppies were killed in the previous month.
Lavool, a village with a population of 5,000 that is 10 km away from the town where this astonishing incident happened, does not have a single puppy.
The forest department was not successful in catching the monkeys, after which the villagers came forward to save the puppies.
Not only this, but the rampaging monkeys have now started targeting the school children and have started attacking them.
Nobody would have ever imagined that they would witness such an incident. This horrific happening has engraved concern in the minds of people regarding the safety of their children.
After the forest department failed in their initial try, the officials came up with an intricate plan to seize the menacing monkeys. They laid a trap and managed to entrap the troop of monkeys.
