Potential Tropical Cyclone 22 to strengthen into Tropical Storm

The US National Hurricane Centre in Miami is alarmed about the disturbance that Potential Tropical Cyclone Twenty-Two can create. The tropical cyclone is located over the west-central Caribbean Sea. It is being forecasted by the National Hurricane Centre that by Friday, the Tropical Storm might affect certain nations.

The disturbance was centred near latitude 15.2 North and Longitude 81.5 West, as stated by the National Hurricane Centre at 4 pm EST.

According to the NHC statement, the Potential Tropical Cyclone is heading towards the north-northeast at 15 km/hour.

The wind speed is likely to increase across the north eastward direction tonight, which is expected to bring weather disturbances.

As per the track record, the Potential Tropical Cyclone is likely to hit Jamaica by Friday and southeastern Cuba by early Saturday.

It is also expected that the disturbance might move across the Southeastern Bahamas and Turks and Caicos Islands on Saturday.

The Potential tropical cyclone had sustained wind speeds of 35 miles per hour.

Moreover, it is being said that Potential Tropical Cyclone Twenty-two is expected to produce heavy rain, which is likely to cause flash flooding as well as mudslides in the higher terrain areas.

The Potential Tropical Cyclone has a huge chance of producing total rainfall of 5 to 10 inches across the areas of Coast Rica, Panama, Jamaica, Hispaniola and Southeastern Cuba through Monday morning.
