PM Terrance Drew extended congratulations to graduates from Dean Glasford Primary School

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew attends the graduation ceremony of the Dean Glasford Primary School. He extended congratulations to all the graduates and wished them the best for their future endeavours.
Also, the Prime Minister recognized the contribution of the parents and guardians of the students for always being their with them as their pillar of strength and guiding them towards the path of success and development.
Along with that, he also extended gratitude to the teachers and staff members of the Dean Glasford Primary School for always encouraging their students and creating a positive learning environment for them. He stated that the staff members have always ensured that the children receive the best of the education along with the high technology equipment.
PM Drew shared the glimpses of his visit and noted “It was a blessing to attend the graduation of my alma mater to witness the faces of courageous and confident graduates.”
Moreover, PM Drew specially acknowledged Zakeedra Morton and Kenton Louis XVI who were the recipients of scholarship which was started by the administration. Notably, the PM also lauded the Ministry of Education and stated that they have been working diligently in order to provide quality and higher education to all the students.
The leader of the nation has also prioritized the education sector in the country and have stated that they are making every possible effort to increase significant access to post-secondary education. The government has opened up vocational training to Germany and has added Southern University option with the vision to enhance the socio-economic aspects which will directly play a crucial role in enhancing post-secondary education.
Earlier few months back, the Deane-Glasford Primary School hosted a STEAM Career Fair under the theme “Small Dreams Can Turn into Big Realities.” The fair was conducted with the vision that children can choose their career path at a very young age and chose appropriate subject areas in order to accomplish their dream.
The Principal of the School also stated during the graduation that their school has always focused in highlighting the dedication of educators and professionals in shaping future leaders, innovators and thinkers. She added that they have always supported their students to confidently pursue their desired careers by linking academic learning with practical and real-world experiences.
