PM Philip Pierre celebrates Father’s Day and recalls good memories with father

Castries, Saint Lucia: Philip Pierre, the Prime Minister of Saint Lucia extended wishes to all the fathers on the occasion of Father’s Day, celebrated on 16th June 2024. The leader of the nation expressed gratitude to God and recalled all the sacrifices made by his father in order to give him a prosperous and fruitful life.

PM Pierre stated that it is one of the “greatest privileges” in his life to celebrate Father’s Day. He asserted that he is truly grateful to his father, Auguste M. Pierre, for playing an instrumental role in his life and making it worth living for him.

While reminiscing his childhood memories, PM Pierre stated that his father used to take him to cricket sessions and teach him everyday lesson of kindness through his services to the community and his interactions with strangers.

PM Pierre further remarked that on the occasion of Father’s Day, he honours the greatest memory of his day, who has always loved and cared for his family. He stated that his father has made all the selfless contributions to giving his family an enhanced standard of living.

“I miss him every day. Happy Heavenly Father’s Day Dad. Happy Father’s Day to all dads,” noted PM Philip J Pierre.

Notably, Father’s Day is celebrated annually on third Sunday of June and the day celebrates and recognizes the indispensable role fathers play in everyone’s lives. This day is celebrated across the world in order to honour all those fathers who keep their children’s happiness above everything.

This day is a great opportunity for every child to express gratitude and love towards their fathers and acknowledge their crucial role in nurturing, guiding and supporting them. The residents of the community flooded the PM Pierre’s post with several best wishes.
