Neftali Bennett sworn in as new PM of Israel

Israelis on Monday got a new Prime Minister when Neftali Bennett secured the majority support in the parliament and removed the longstanding PM Benjamin Netanyahu who was handling the PM office for 12 years.
The Knesset approved the coalition government led by Neftali Bennett. After ending the 12 years tenure of former PM Benjamin Netanyahu, who will be now the opposition leader of the biggest party in Israel.
The new PM Neftali Bennett also a former associate of former PM Benjamin Netanyahu. As the coalition agreement, Neftali Bennett will be handling the office of premier for the first 2 years. After that, the foreign minister Yair Lapid will become the PM.
The new government was declared on Sunday and ready to work from Monday morning, with ministers declaring appointments of new ministry directors.
A Netanyahu aide Topaz Luk said while talking to Army Radio that the former prime minister will fight with this current dangerous and horrible government as a strong opposition leader. Netanyahu is full of motivation to overthrow this dangerous government as soon as possible.
World leaders have complimented Bennett on becoming the 13th Prime Minister of Israel.
Prime Minister of U.K. also congratulated the New Israeli Prime Minister Neftali Bennett and Yair Lapid on making a new coalition government. PM Johnson said that this is an exciting time for the U.K. and Israel to continue working together to advance peace and prosperity.
Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi also congratulate Neftali Bennett and also said that he wants to meet Neftali Bennett and to deepen the strategic relations between the countries.
Lapid, Israel’s new foreign minister and alternate prime minister, spoke with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and “discussed the special relationship between the U.S. and Israel,” he wrote on Twitter.
Bennett, 49, a former ally of Netanyahu turned rival, became prime minister after the 60-59 vote in Knesset on Sunday.
