Montserrat: Communication Ministry talks about effective communication during After School Club
Ministry of Communication, Works, Labour and Energy of Montserrat shared an update on the recently conducted training session, focusing on effective communication.

Plymouth, Montserrat: Ministry of Communication, Works, Labour and Energy of Montserrat shared an update on the recently conducted training session, focusing on effective communication. As per the update by the Ministry, “Effective Communication was the theme at on February 15th, 2023 Montserrat Volcano Observatory (MVO) After School Club.”
The update further stated that the session jointly conducted by MVO Education and Outreach Coordinator Thiffanie Williams and ICT Officer Shealsha Payne saw two presentations being made on the topics, ‘Effective Communication’ and ‘Communication Technology: The Evolution of Communications from Morse Code to Smart Phones’, respectively.
In addition to this, the post informed that there were also fun activities for the students to keep them engaged, where one student was able to win herself a Bluetooth Speaker sponsored by the ICT Unit.
The MCWLE is a partner with the Montserrat Volcano Observatory for the ‘Curating Crises Project’.
Montserrat Volcano Observatory (MVO) also took social media and outlined that effective communication is a key ingredient in crisis management and a cross-cutting theme of the Curating Crises Project. Our after-school club students got a quick lesson in Effective Communication and the Evolution of Communication. There were some fun activities, and one student won herself a Bluetooth Speaker.
The session was jointly conducted by MVO Education and Outreach Coordinator Thiffanie Williams and the Ministry of Communication, Works, Labour and Energy- Montserrat ICT Officer Shealsha Payne.
