Kimani Melius signs for Abu Dhabi T10 League amid controversy with SLCA, Influencer Sohria Alexander delighted

After making headlines for several months, Saint Lucian cricketer Kimani Melius has officially been signed as a member of the Northern Warriors team for the Abu Dhabi T10 League amid the controversy with the Saint Lucia Cricket Association and Darren Sammy. The social media influencer, Sohria Alexander, expressed her happiness on his selection and extended best wishes to the player for his upcoming league.
As per the details, the Abu Dhabi T10 League is scheduled to kick off from 21st November, 2024. This tournament will be conducted between 10 teams competing in a thrilling season. And, out of the participating 10 teams, the top five will engage in a fierce battle for making their place in the finals.
The well-renowned influencer from Saint Lucia, Sohria Alexander has stood by Kimani Melius during a difficult time when he was being bullied by the Saint Lucia Cricket Association and Darren Sammy. At that time, Sohria used her platform of social media in order to held her support to the cricketer as well as his family in overcoming that challenging time.
Following her selection in the Abu Dhabi T10 League, Sohria Alexander expressed her excitement. She noted, “It’s a good morning! Yeah baby! Kimani S Melius is on his way to Dubai! Who Jah BLESSED no man curse! Congrats young man! You were destined for greatness! To God be the glory.”
Notably, a month back several speculations were swirling regarding Kimani Melius being stopped to play in the T10 league in Zimbabwe by the Cricket Association of Saint Lucia. Therefore, Melius’ cousin sister, Shatty Amadee called out the association as well as the legendary cricketer, Darren Sammy for bullying her brother.
She also accused them for ending her brother’s career. At that time, she was supported by several influencers including, Sohria Alexander who voiced her support for the cricketer.
Moreover, the official social media page of the Northern Warriors also shared the picture of Kimani Melius. They mentioned about strengthening their squad with pure and powerful talent of Melius. They added that the player is all set to bring the heat to the Northern Warriors which will play a huge role in leading them towards victory.
Also, the participation of Kimani Melius in the Abu Dhabi T10 League would prove to be a significant opportunity for the player. He will not only get the chance to showcase his skills, talent, abilities, and his techniques but will also get a platform to perform and compete alongside the star players worldwide.
According to reports, this year’s 2024 edition of Abu Dhabi T10 League will feature players from 18 different countries. The authorities promise to offer an unforgettable season of cricket to all their spectators.
