Castries, Saint Lucia: Julien Alfred is all set to represent Saint Lucia in the World Athletics Indoor Championship 2024. She will participate in Women’s 60m against 9 more contenders to clinch the title.

The World Athletics Indoor Championship will take place in Glasgow, Great Britain and Northern Ireland from 1st to 3rd March 2024. Such events are a great opportunity for the sportsperson and athletes to showcase their skills, talent, abilities and techniques.

This championship is a great opportunity for all to experience the raw athleticism and exceptional talent of the world’s best up close to those competing on the world stage at the start of this special Olympic year.

  9. N’ ketia Seedo from the Netherlands.
  10. Julien Alfred from Saint Lucia

Julien Alfred is one of the renowned athletes of Saint Lucia who has claimed many accolades in her name. Her unwavering commitment and dedication have led her to achieve many titles and medals which include, a silver medal in 100m at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Along with that, she is also the record holder for the 60m in the joint North American indoor. She was acknowledged as Women’s Indoor National Track Athlete of the Year.

Her accomplishments signify the hard work she has put in to train herself as an athlete. She has turned her aspirations into reality by clinching several titles. Her selection in such a prestigious championship also reflects her commitment towards her field.
