Haiti must not “lose its way”: Martine Moise

                                                    Haiti must not “lose its way” after the tragedy that Haiti had experienced in past days and left Haiti critically injured. Martine Moise, the widow of assassinated Haitian President Jovenel Moise, stated.
Martine Moise said the attack that killed her husband happened in the blink of an eye, without even giving President a chance to say a word. Martine Moise said in the audio message that has been posted on her official Twitter account on Saturday. This was the first her first interaction after the attack that shook the whole of Haiti.
In the message that was in Creole, Martine Moise said that the mercenaries were sent to only kill her husband and Haiti’s President for the only reasons because of roads, water, electricity and referendum as well as postponement elections at the end of the year so that there is no change in the country’s administration.
Martine Moise said that thanks to God, that she is alive. But she loves her husband, Jovenel. They fought together for more than 25 years. During all these years, love spread within the home. But suddenly, the mercenaries came and pelted my husband with bullets. They have to be a notorious criminal without the guts to assassinate a president like Jovenel Moïse with exemption without giving him the chance to speak.
Martine Moise asked that did anybody knew who the President was fighting against. The mercenaries who assassinated the President have been currently behind bars, but other mercenaries now want to kill his dream, his vision, his ideology.
President of Haiti Jovenel Moise was assassinated by a group of unidentified people with guns. They assassinated the president by shooting him with guns at 1:00 a.m on Wednesday. The killing of President Jovenel Moise comes amid deepening political and economic stability and a spike in gang violence.
The suspects have been arrested for the assassination of Haiti’s President. According to the statements of senior police officials, those 2 suspected are Haitian Americans. Out of them, one was a former bodyguard at the Canadian Embassy in Port au Prince.
