Georgetown, Guyana: Mitztroy Dash, a 42-year-old, and Rayborn Gordon, 32 years old, were arrested in possession of Ganja in Essequibo on Thursday.
Notably, Dash is identified to belong to Good Hope and Gordon from Lima sand in Essequibo Coast.
It is to be noted that CANU officers conducted an operation between Adventure and Good Hope. During their exercise, they intercepted a motor car in the nearby area.
They then conducted a subsequent search of the motor vehicle in the presence of the driver, which led to the discovery of a quantity of suspected cannabis.
The police officers apprehended the duo in connection with drugs and escorted them to the CANU’s headquarters along with the suspected cannabis.
They were asked several questions related to the motor vehicles and Ganja that they had collected at the crime scene.

During the search, an Anti-Crime Mobile Patrol observed a 17-year-old juvenile with a black plastic bag in his right hand.
The ranks picked up the bag and searched inside. On searching the bag, the officials found a few quantities of leaves, seeds and stems, which were suspected to be cannabis.
