DPM Ernest Hilaire informs public about schedule of St Lucian Carnival 2023

Castries, Saint Lucia: Deputy Prime Minister, who also serves as the Minister of Tourism, Ernest Hilaire, felt delighted while sharing the event calendar for the Saint Lucian Carnival 2023. As per the official updates, the event will start on July 1 and conclude on July 19, witnessing many interesting events.

Through a dedicated social media post, Tourism Minister anticipated that the Carnival would return with more excitement and joy this year. He outlined, “This year’s CarnivalCarnival will be one of the biggest with the return of many of our National Programs, including Kiddies Carnival, School’s Panorama and Jouvert. We will also see the return of community carnivals throughout the island.”

Furthermore, he shed light on the fact that the Carnivals and festivals hold immense significance for the nation and its people as it showcases their vibrant culture and heritage.

“Carnival is one of our premier cultural and creative industry activities, and we must nurture it and help it grow. We must also make it inclusive to everyone and encourage participation island-wide,” he noted.
