Dominica to host 7th annual flagship event ‘Creole in the Streets’

Dominica will host its 7th Annual Flagship event, Creole in the Streets, on Thursday, 21st December 2023, outside Great Marlborough Street.

Roseau, Dominica- Dominica will host its 7th Annual Flagship event, Creole in the Streets, on Thursday, 21st December 2023, outside Great Marlborough Street, Roseau.

The event will celebrate the 3Cs edition. The 3Cs mean Creole, Christmas, and Calypso. It will be celebrated from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Theme of the event: The event will be celebrated under the theme of Building Resilience-Nurturing a Sustainable Future. This theme aims at bringing sustainability to the island nation by supporting local communities and encouraging their work.

This event will be hosted with the motive of extending support to the local agro-processors, manufacturers, agriculture vendors, small business stakeholders, craft vendors, florists, plant providers, and service providers.

King Dice, who will be performing in the event, is the only calypsonian who has won nine national crowns and five consecutive road march titles. 

DJ Shax has advanced his craft by playing locally and regionally as well. He has been playing hit after hit for over ten years.

DJ MJ is known for his serious hits like Coast Guard Base when they see light and countless bouyon mixes. He is ready once again to entertain his fans through his performance

Moreover, there are many other artists who will grace the stage, including DJ Snow, Unstoppable DJ Shax, DJ Epic, Abiyah Yisrael – Shanice Langford, Young Skilled musicians, King Trilla G and Petite Savanne Cultural Group.
