This year, the Ministry of Tourism, along with the government of Dominica, has proudly announced the completion of the glorious 50 years of the Flower Show and the Market Fair. The Flower Show has been entertaining people since the year 1973.
The Flower Show and Market Fair is known to showcase the floriculture tradition of the communities living in the two regions of the small island beautiful country of Dominica – Giraudel and Eggleston.
The Show has been the main attraction because of its effective and unique way of showcasing exotic floral displays, landscaping and gardening. It is also renowned for being a retailed exhibition of the harvest of flowers and plants.
This beautiful, mesmerising and beautiful festival was celebrated last year after a long break caused because of Hurricane Maria. The Tourism Ministry and various tourism authorities have anticipated that this year the colourful flower festival will attract a large number of flower and plant enthusiasts, generating income resources.
