Denzil Douglas celebrates 35 years of services, Know events schedule

St Kitts and Nevis is celebrating the remarkable and significant 35 years of the leadership and dedication of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the nation, Dr Denzil Douglas. The celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Minister will be conducted for six months and the Federation has unveiled the calendar of activities for the month of March.

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: St Kitts and Nevis is celebrating the remarkable and significant 35 years of the leadership and dedication of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the nation, Dr Denzil Douglas. The celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Minister will be conducted for six months and the Federation has unveiled the calendar of activities for the month of March.

Constituency 6 of the Federation invites all the residents of the island nation to celebrate their 35th year as Members of Parliament. The journey of Minister Douglas began on 21st March 1989 when he was elected as the Parliamentary Representative for St. Christopher 6.

The Branch Executive Lunch Meeting was conducted on Sunday, 3rd March at the venue Arthurs. Following that, the Branch Elections/Branch Meeting was held on Thursday, 14th March at the selected venue St. Paul’s Primary.

The entire calendar of events for the month of March to celebrate 35 years of services of Denzil Douglas include, 

3rd March 2024, Sunday – Branch Executive Lunch Meeting at Arthurs

14th March 2024, Thursday – Branch Elections/ Branch Meeting 

17th March 2024, Sunday – Anniversary Church Service at the selected venue of Saddlers Pentecostal Church of God. 

19th March 2024, Tuesday – Community Walkthrough at the venue of Saddlers. 

21st March 2024, Thursday – Book Launch at Sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium ECCB. Bird Rock. 

23rd March 2024, Saturday – Health Fair at Dieppe Bay Lawn from 10 am to 2 pm. 

30th March 2024, Saturday – Health Walk at the selected venue of C5 Constituency Office Sandy Point to C6 Parsons from 5 am. 

Minister Denzil Douglas expressed gratitude to all those people who played the role of support system throughout his journey of 35 years. He thanked his family members, his dear people of Newton Ground, St Paul’s, Dieppe Bay, Parsons and Saddlers/Harries for standing by his side always.

Several residents of the community took to their social media accounts and extended congratulations to the Minister for his dedicated services for the development of the nation.
