Belize fully vaccinates 50,871 individuals with COVID vaccine jabs
In Belize, till now, a total of 201,217 individuals have now received at least one shot of their COVID-19 vaccines. A total of 50,871 persons had been fully vaccinated in the island country.

Belize: In Belize, till now, a total of 201,217 individuals have now received at least one shot of their COVID-19 vaccines. A total of 50,871 persons had been fully vaccinated in the island country.
The data was provided by the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) in the COVID-19 Vaccination Report.
While 4,423 individuals are 18 and older were vaccinated since the last report on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. As of October 8, a total of 26,611 people between 12 – 17 years of age group have been vaccinated with the doses of the Pfizer vaccines.
The Health Ministry started out with AstraZeneca vaccines but has added Sinopharm, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccines in the drive.
Individuals who are wishing to vaccinate can visit vaccinating sites countrywide and may also register online for an appointment online.
The health ministry authorities cited that “COVID-19 Vaccinations are now available for everyone; 18 years and older. Individuals who have been vaccinated for at least eight weeks are asked to visit any Ministry of Health and Wellness’ health facility to get their second dose of the vaccine.”
Following the statement, Belize’s Health Ministry further noted that “We also advise that even after getting vaccinated, people should continue wearing a face mask properly in public places maintain consistent physical distancing, avoiding social gatherings, and washing and sanitizing your hands often.”
“Please be safe and stay at home unless conducting essential business,” the officials of the health ministry noted.
According to the novel coronavirus statistics, so far, a total of 22,187 individuals have contracted the deadliest COVID-19 mutant.
In addition, a total of 427 individuals have lost their lives to the contagious virus so far in the island country.
Taking the shots of the COVID-19 Vaccines and following the COVID-19 health protocols is the sole way to beat this outbreak.
