Barbados Immunisation Unit announces vaccine schedule for March 23
The Immunisation Unit has announced the locations and times of the vaccination site for March 23. On the day, vaccines will be available at 6 sites.

Barbados: As of March 21, 2022, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 160,809, which compromises 70.4 percent of the eligible population. The total number of fully vaccinated persons is 150,699, which makes up 66 percent of the eligible population and 55.6 percent of the total population.
The Barbadian Government has announced that the eligible population represents those persons who are 12 years and older.
The Immunisation Unit has announced the locations and times of the vaccination site for March 23, 2022 (Wednesday). On the day, vaccines will be available at six (6) sites between 9 AM and 4 PM.
According to the schedule shared by the Unit, on March 23, vaccines can be received at the following six sites:
1.) Location – St. Philip Polyclinic at Six Roads, St Philip and Time – 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
2.) Location – Branford Taitt Polyclinic at Black Rock, St Michael and Time – 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM
3.) Location – Glebe Polyclinic at The Glebe, St George and Time – 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
4.) Location – Winston Scott Polyclinic at Jemmott’s Lane, St Michael and Time – 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
5.) Location – Maurice Byer Polyclinic at Station Hill, St Peter and Time – 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
6.) Eunice Gibson Polyclinic at Warrens, St Michael Time – 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM
The vaccination centres administrate four vaccines against COVID-19; these vaccines are – AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Sinopharm and Johnson & Johnson. These vaccines will be available at the polyclinics and vaccination centres at the scheduled times only.
The Barbadian health sector provided special provisions to the students aged between 12 years and 18 years. The students can receive the vaccination against the deadly virus anytime at any location.
As per the notification by the health ministry, the persons who want to receive the first jab of the vaccine must carry an identification card and individuals interested in taking the second dose must walk in with a blue vaccination card. And persons wishing to have a booster dose must present either a blue vaccination card or vaccination certificate and valid photo identification, including a passport or identification card.
