Antigua Restaurant Week to commence from 4th May 2024

Antigua and Barbuda is all set to celebrate its Restaurant Week from 4th May to 19th May 2024. It is to be noted that the event will provide an opportunity for the visitors to explore various delicacies and cuisines of the twin-island nation.

Antigua and Barbuda: Antigua and Barbuda is all set to celebrate its Restaurant Week from 4th May to 19th May 2024. It is to be noted that the event will provide an opportunity for the visitors to explore various delicacies and cuisines of the twin-island nation. 

Restaurant Week celebrated in the nation is a beautiful way to display mouth-watering delicacies and attract visitors. It will also open the doors for the restaurant owners and chefs to elevate their businesses by offering the tourists with the possible amenities. 

Notably, Antigua and Barbuda Restaurant Week celebrates the best facilities of the destination including food, people and the vibrant culture and traditions of the island nation. 

The Special Projects and Events Manager at the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, Shermain Jeremy stated that “The Restaurant Week annual celebration highlights the best culinary experiences we have to offer–from favourite casual spots to multi-course menus at the finest restaurants.”

Moreover, the tourism authority of the twin-island nation also revealed the list of the celebrity chefs and professionals who will participate in the Antigua and Barbuda Restaurant Week. 

While highlighting Chef Andi Oliver, the tourism authority added that the Chef is all set to make a comeback in the second annual Restaurant Week of Antigua and Barbuda at the “The Pepperpot Rum Shop,” a 100-day food and cultural pop-up.

The Restaurant Week celebrated in the nation will also play a pivotal role in enhancing the tourism sector of the island nation. The tourism sector is considered as the backbone of the island nation which plays a significant role in improving the economic conditions of the country. 

Two traditional delicacies of Antigua and Barbuda 

Ducana 

Ducana is an Antiguan dumpling that is loved by many nationals as it is combined with savory choices like stewed saltfish. The ingredients included in the dish are grated coconut, raisins, nutmeg, coconut milk, sugar, flour and various ingredients. 

Antigua Black Pineapple 

It is also known as the sweetest pineapple in the world, people really love to explore and try this perfect dish as it is an adventure for the taste buds and allows people to explore various flavors of Antiguan cuisine.
