The final stage of the second OECS-ECCB International Netball Series would shoot off from 12 to 18 February at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium, Dominica.
The series would be played to bag the Gloria Ballantyne Championship Trophy. Five of the ECCB members would compete against each other; the five participants are – Antigua and Barbuda, the Commonwealth of Dominica, Saint Lucia, St Kitts and Nevis and Saint Vincent and Grenadines.
The team by Barbados will participate for the first time; this year, it will not compete for the trophy but will be a competitor.
According to the hosting authorities, the ranking of the teams would depend on the number of matches played and won.
The authority further announced the schedule of the OECS/ ECCB International Netball Series. The ‘opening ceremony’ will be begun at 3:30 pm and the matches will start at 6 in the evening.
From February 13 to February 18, each day, three matches would be played, the first match would be played at 6 pm (at Court 1), the second at 6:30 pm (at Court 2), and the last match will start at 7 (at Court 1).
- FEBRUARY 13, SUNDAY
The first match will be played between Dominica and Antigua & Barbuda. The second match will be played between St Vincent & the Grenadines and St Kitts & Nevis and the last match will be between St Lucia and Barbados.
- FEBRUARY 14, MONDAY
On the next day, the first match will be between St Kitts & Nevis and Barbados, and the second will be played between Antigua & Barbuda and St Lucia and St Vincent & the Grenadines and Dominica will play the third one.
- FEBRUARY 15, TUESDAY
The game on the third day will be between St Vincent & The Grenadines and Antigua and Barbuda. The second will be played by St Kitts & Nevis and St Lucia, and the third match will be between Dominica and Barbados.
- FEBRUARY 16, WEDNESDAY
Personal Development Session Day.
- FEBRUARY 17, THURSDAY
The first match of Feb 17 will be played between Dominica and St Lucia and the next will be played by St Vincent & The Grenadines and Barbados, and Antigua & Barbuda and St Kitts & Nevis will play the third match.
- FEBRUARY 18, FRIDAY
Barbados and Antigua & Barbuda will start the final day, andthe second match will be between Dominica and St Kitts & Nevis. The last match will be played between St Lucia and St Vincent & The Grenadines.
The ‘Closing and Award ceremony‘ will be held on the same day, commencing at 8:15 pm.
