Premier Brantley mentioned, “Excellent news on the job front for Nevis. As we recover from the Covid19 pandemic, we are seeing some job growth on Nevis, which is encouraging.”

Furthermore, he mentioned that the official data from Social Security up to March 2022 shows that the number of employees in Nevis grew by 2.9%, and the number of jobs grew by 4.9%.

During that same period, gross wages grew by a significant 7.3%, and wages per employee grew by 4.3%, while wages per job grew by 2.4%, as per the data shared by Premier Brantley.
