Furthermore, through social media, the objective of Peterson for the Santiago 2023 Games was, “I’m expecting to be over 90 meters at the Pan American Games 2023. I think the people of Santiago would love to see the javelin go extremely far, so I’m looking forward to that. I hope to get even closer to the world record and defend my world championship title, defend my Pan Am Games title and hopefully become the Olympic champion for 2024 in Paris.”
As per the source, the 2023 Pan American Games is officially regarded as the XIX Pan American Games and Santiago 2023. The Games is known as an international multi-sport event which is governed by the Panam Sports Organisation.
This year, the international sports event will be played from October 20 to November 5, 2023, in Santiago, Chile. It is worth noting that it is the first ever Pan American Games to be organised in Chile and the eighth in South America.
According to the official schedule, the Games will be hosted in 39 venues across the Metropolitan Region of the country and the other three regions of Chile. The Pan American Games and the 2023 Parapan American Games will be organised by the Santiago Organizing Committee for the 2023 Pan and Parapan American Games.
