The Luxe Carnival unveiled their carnival costumes with the theme “OCEAN ODYSSEY: Mysteries of the Underworld” for the Carnival celebration of St Kitts and Nevis.

The Luxe Carnival is an organization that promotes and markets Carnival Mas Costumes and events. And, they have unveiled a costume with elaborated meanings and significance which delivers a story that showcases carnival vibrant colors that is backed up by the sound of soca through the streets.

St. Kitts Carnival is a weekend which offers plethora of experiences to all the attendees. It is filled with fetes, parties and a Caribbean Carnival Parade with revelry and a Carnival Village with live performance and delicious Caribbean food.

The costumes unveiled by the Luxe Carnival include:

ATLANTIS

It has been made with a thought of discovering a world where fantasy meets reality and the dreams dive deeper. While shedding light on this costume, the management stated that it is an underwater realm where pearls adorn the seabed and ancient treasures gleam within coral-encrusted ruins. This costume elaborates the immense beauty of the sea.

ODYSSEY

The organization explained this costume as an idea where adventure meets destiny. They called Odyssey a courageous hero who embarks on a journey to his home after a war and faces mythical creatures and several problems along the way. They noted that this costume symbolizes a fight for survival, identity, and belonging.

SCYLLA

Scylla is a sea monster known for her ferocious nature. Despite her fearsome reputation, she is associated with the protection of sailors, and people call upon her during times of peril. This costume signifies the strength and fierceness needed to protect their force.

NEREIA

Nereids are the ones that dances beautifully and gracefully among the coral reefs. They are associated with seahorses, riding them through the waves as they protect sailors and marine life. And, emphasising on this costume, the organization stated that this costume defines the beauty, grace and serenity to the ocean’s hidden realms.

SIREN

This costume marks that every wave has a story to tell which promises beauty and peril. The organizers stated that Siren’s melodies attract sailors to their doom and its each noted waves a spellbinding allure.

CLIODHNA

Cliodhna is the sea goddess known for her enchanting beauty and connection to the ocean. The organization stated that Cliodhna has the ability to control the tides and calm the tempestuous seas. Therefore, this costume has been made to symbolise the capability to calm down in challenging situations.
