Caribbean: Caribbean Airlines has announced new options from Jamaica to Florida. As per the airlines, “Customers travelling out of Kingston, Jamaica, now have more fight options to travel as we introduce service to Orlando, Florida.”
The newly launched service will commence on July 1, 2022 (Friday).
The non-stop return flights would run between Norman Manley International (KIN) and Orlando International (MCO) airports will operate twice weekly from Monday to Thursday. Three weekly services complement these flights to KIN and Hollywood International Airport (FLL) each Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
The tickets for the flights are available for sale via www.caribbean-airlines.com, Caribbean Airlines mobile app, reservation sales and service centres, ticket offices and travel agents.
As per the schedule shared by the Airlines, flights between Kingston and Orlando will run as follows:
The first flight will depart on July 1 at 7:45 am from Kingston and land in Orlando at 10:55 am. The name of the flight would be BW75. On the same days, Monday to Thursday, the return flight would take off from Orlando at 12:55 pm and land at Kingston at 2 pm.
While sharing the update on the flight schedule between Kingston and Fort Lauderdale, the airlines stated that the first flight would take off from Kingston to Fort Lauderdale at 8:05 am and land at 10:55 am. This route will be covered on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. The return flight will take off at 12:55 pm and reach Kingston at 1:35 pm.
Through the airlines’ website, customers can verify the entry requirements and other important travel information for any destination and may make appointments for COVID-19 tests. Customers are asked to follow travel safety protocols and keep a check that all guidelines are in place, including wearing face masks during check-in while boarding as well as during the journey on flights.
The airline has further informed the customers that the check-in will commence four hours prior to flight departure to facilitate all COVID-19 related norms.
