Guyana has once again crowned the Miss Caribbean Culture Queen pageant following Shequana Holder stunned the competition. She outshined 10 other delegates to cop the coveted title on 5th August 2024.

Guyana has once again crowned the Miss Caribbean Culture Queen pageant following Shequana Holder stunned the competition. She outshined 10 other delegates to cop the coveted title on 5th August 2024.
As per the reports, Holder’s presence and charming persona set the stage on fire which won the hearts of all the judges and received winning 1883 points. She was followed by Dominique Trotman from Antigua and Barbuda, securing 1799 points who claimed the second position. Meanwhile, Kyanna Dyer from Dominica who earned 1761 points claimed the third position respectively.
Notably, Shequana also celebrated her 21st birthday following her victory at the Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant and walked away not only with the title and crown but also with the lion’s share of special prizes.
Her entire performance was nothing short of spectacular which also helped her winning several accolades in addition to the crown. She clinched the awards for Best Talent, Best Interview, Best Gown, and Best Answer, making her a standout, copping 4 out of 5 awards. These awards also shed light on her exceptional skills and poise throughout the competition.
Also, Holder’s victory on Monday followed the impressive win by Shemina Peroune, who gracefully passed the crown to her fellow Guyanese. Her success highlighted the beauty, talent and cultural richness of Guyana on an international stage and is a testament to her hard work, dedication and the unwavering support of her community.
A month ago, Shequana Holder was also crowned with Miss Guyana Culture Queen Pageant on 21st June at the Guyana Marriot. And, after her win at the Miss Caribbean Culture Pageant, the management extended congratulations to Holder and shared that the victories of Shequana Holder and Shemina Peroune have set a new standard and paved the way for the future queens.
They also noted that their journey from never having won the title to achieving consecutive victories is a story of dreams, determination, and destiny for their nation.
The pageant was held in the picturesque island of Nevis and was also a part of the Nevis Culturama Festival in which a total of 11 beauties from the diverse Caribbean nations competed and showcased the rich colours, costumes and traditions of the country.
Moreover, the contestants of the 2024 Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant attended a worship service at St. Paul’s Anglican Church as a part of their scheduled activities. Following that, all of them were treated to delicious lunch at the famous Sunshine Beach Bar.
