Dominica: Melissa Skerrit shares glimpse of Dominica Carnival 2023

Roseau, Dominica: Parliamentary Representative of the Roseau Central Constituency and wife of Prime Minister – Melissa Poponne-Skerrit shared glimpse of Dominica Carnival 2023 and expressed that the event was ‘beyond fantastic.’ The Minister stated that the festival was a great success and witnessed a gathering of tourists like never before.

Further, Parliamentary Representative Melissa Skerrit thanked all the patrons, sponsors and participants for coming out, celebrating and making Carnival 2023 a big bash for Dominica.

Melissa Skerrit took to social media and stated, “Carnival 2023 in Dominica was beyond fantastic! Thank you to all the hard-working people behind the scenes. Thank you to all the patrons who came out to participate. Special thanks to our sponsors #FlowDominica #FineFoodsInc #vibesradio #PetroCaribe.”

The leader further stated that it was an event free of violence or incidents, for which the government of Dominica is grateful. In addition to this, she shares some joyful photographs from the Carnival.

Along with this, a glimpse of every day was also shared by the Official DFC page – Dominica Festivals. People felt connected to the events happening during Carnival 2023 due to the updates shared by the page on social media. On Tuesday, February 21, 2023, the authorities hosted Costume Day to engage more and more audiences.

While sharing the update of the same, the page stated, “Carnival Tuesday is #costume day!
