Darren Sammy Cricket Ground undergoing upgrades, preparing for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup

Castries, Saint Lucia: Saint Lucia’s famous Darren Sammy Cricket Ground is undergoing significant renovations and upgrades in order to host the five exciting and thrilling matches of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.

The Management team working on the preparations has promised to offer a plethora of experiences to all the players as well as the spectators. The workers are making every stringent effort to offer an unforgettable and world class experience to all the attendees.

As per the details, the cricket ground is due to be handed over to the International Cricket Council on 15th May 2024.

The island nation is co-hosting the tournament along with five other Caribbean nations and USA. The Caribbean nations that will be hosting the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 matches include, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Antigua and Barbuda and Barbados. Darren Sammy Cricket Ground is located near the Gros Islet, Saint Lucia which holds a seating capacity of 15,000. The stadium is named after the renowned player of West Indies, Darren Sammy in order to acknowledge his invaluable contribution in the field of cricket.
