COVID in Dominica: 69 individuals discharged from hospital
The Health Ministry has released the COVID-19 update report, according to which 69 COVID-19 patients were discharged from the hospital facilities on October 12, 2021.

Roseau, Dominica: The Health Ministry has released the COVID-19 update report, according to which 69 COVID-19 patients were discharged from the hospital facilities on October 12, 2021.
With these, the recovery rate of the island country has climbed to 3,801.
The Health Ministry informed that a total of 24 individuals have tested positive for the contagious viral disease. With this, the total number of active cases has risen to 284.
Out of the new cases reported, all the individuals tested positive from Rapid Antigen Test. Since the COVID-19 outbreak emerged in the island country, a total of 4113 people have contracted the viral disease.
The Health Ministry’s report further notes that till October 12 2021, a total of 81914 COVID-19 tests have been conducted on the island. On the other hand, in total twenty-six, people lost their lives to the contagious mutant.
The COVID-19 report further highlights the statistics of the COVID-19 vaccination; that is, a total of 26747 people have taken their first shot of the vaccine. While in total, 21960 individuals have received their second jab of the vaccine and are now fully vaccinated.
As per to the statistics, worldwide, so far, there are a total of 239,451,990 confirmed coronavirus cases. A total of 216,815,197 individuals have been recovered from the contagious mutant, and a total of 4,880,867 people scummed to the deadliest viral disease.

Besides this, the Health Ministry is continuously urging the citizens to take their doses of the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible so as to win this battle against the coronavirus and asked them to follow the COVID-19 health protocols such as – wearing masks, sanitizing frequently, and maintaining social distance.
