The re-envisioned and refurbished Peter Island Resort has officially announced that it will be opening its doors for visitors in 2024. The resort has been rebuilt completely after its closure following the 2017 Hurricane season, allowing it to enhance itself and become a luxury private island like no other in the region.

The reopening of the Peter Island Resort is highly anticipated, considering the extensive six-year transformation it has undergone. The resort now boasts brand-new accommodations and dwellings, featuring every conceivable luxury and facility that guests could expect.

While a lot might have changed, the resort’s management has assured customers that it has retained its old charm and offers a relaxed setting, personalized luxury services, five immaculate beaches and many acres of untouched tropical landscapes, just as it did before.

The President of the Peter Island Resort, David Van Andel, stated the following, “After over six years, we are excited to raise the curtain on Peter Island Resort’s transformation to a new level of luxury.”

“Our evolved and re-imagined private island hideaway will welcome guests with the same warm, Caribbean hospitality, casual elegance and natural tropical wonders that have captivated visitors for decades. For generations, we have been honoured stewards of Peter Island, and we look forward to sharing our revitalised Caribbean treasure once again in 2024.”

Guests will also be pleased to know that the resort has maintained its secluded and intimate feel, with just 52 rooms, villas and suites available. The resort also has a new infinity pool which looks over the famous Deadman’s Beach, which gives guests the best of both worlds, as they can sit poolside or seaside, depending on their preference.

The resort is also working on extending its meetings and events facilities with a new 3,000-square-foot oceanfront Conference Center that is surrounded by two event lawns and a veranda that spans the length of the facility and can be used for pre-event staging.

The entire facility can accommodate 180 people with relative ease and has added to the functionality of the resort significantly.

The Peter Island Spa, which was one of the most popular facilities offered by the resort, is being redone, with a new design as well as upgraded facilities. It will remain in the same location, giving visitors a beautiful view of the palm tree grove on the Big Reef Bay.

For enthusiastic sailors, boaters, and yachtsmen, the resort will include a newly built Yacht Club that can house power boats, sailboats, catamarans, and even superyachts of up to 200 feet.

The Yacht Club, in this new iteration is likely to attract High Net Worth Individuals, who wish to experience the seclusion and luxury that the Peter Island Resort provides.

To compliment these extravagant and luxurious facilities, the resort is looking to build two new restaurants which will offer multiple cuisines with a highly rated service to make for a culinary experience like no other.

The resort has opened bookings from the 3rd of October onwards, but the management has stated that once the opening date is finalized, there is a possibility that people could book their stay at the resort prior to the 3rd Oct as well.

The Peter Island Resort was appreciated in the past for its blend of seclusion and luxury, which allowed visitors and guests to enjoy their time at the resort in a comfortable setting.

In this new iteration, the resort aims to maintain its old charm while adding bigger, better, and more modern facilities.

By doing so, the management is looking to carry the resort’s appeal into a new era, ensuring that it lasts for decades to come.
