Usain Bolt, the retired Jamaican sprinter, is considered the greatest of all time. He holds the world record for 100 metres, 200 metres and 400 metres relay.

Bolt has eight Olympic gold medals in his bag. He is the only runner who has won 100 m and 200 m at three consecutive Olympics, in 2008, 2012 and 2016.

He is one of the greatest sources of inspiration for all athletes as an indomitable spirit in his sport. Having won multiple medals over a period of sheer dominance.

His unwavering determination and focus have inspired millions of people; in fact, whenever he stepped onto the track, his fans chanted, “Bolt! Bolt!”

Usain Bolt is not just an inspiration for athletes but also for every individual who aspires to be a sportsperson.

Bolt is loved all over the world. He is followed by millions of people, with an Instagram following of 13.6 million and 4.8 million on Twitter.

The star has retired, yet whenever somebody talks about the greatest athletes to have ever graced world sports, his name automatically comes to the forefront.

He has faced many hardships throughout his journey but his efforts and dedication have made him reach such a level that he currently holds 19 Guinness World Records.

Moreover, in Bolt’s autobiography, he stated that he had to go through scoliosis, which is a condition in which the patient’s spine begins to curve, leading to muscular atrophy, postural problems and a significant amount of pain. In the case of Usain Bolt, the condition caused his right leg to become half an inch shorter.

Despite his medical issues, Usain Bolt always dominated his field and was head and shoulders above his peers.

It would not be surprising if people considered Bolt as a synonym for speed and success. His outstanding career and achievement have left such a legacy that it would be hard to compete with in the near future.
