Antigua and Barbuda: Harold A. Browne, the father of Prime Minister Gaston Browne, breathed his last breath on June 4, 2022 (Saturday).
The announcement regarding the passing of Browne’s father was made by the Office of the Prime Minister.
As per the sources, Harold A. Browne had his last breath at the Lester Bird Medical Centre at the age of 76 years on Saturday, June 4. He was predeceased by his son Glen.
He was also the father of Blondelle, Garilyn, Addison, Marsha and Kimberly. Along with this, he was the brother of several sisters and brothers in the US and Jerome and his wife, Maude, in the United Kingdom.
The death of PM Gaston Browne’s father has led to a pall of gloom descending across the entire island and where he was born and bred.
The grief of passing away of Harold A. Browne has pervaded across social media.
Since the passing away of Gaston Browne’s father, dolour has prevailed in Antigua and Barbuda.

One resident of Antigua and Barbuda extended his condolences by writing, “My condolences goes out to the Hon Prime minister Gaston Browne on the passing of his father, and may the Lord continue to strengthen you.”
According to the information shared on Antigua and Barbuda’s PM’s Facebook page, Harold A. Browne will be laid to rest on Tuesday, June 7 2022.
