Apart from this, Cricket West Indies (CWI) stated that West Indies Women’s squad and their coaches have also received their first dose of vaccination against the COVID-19 pandemic at the beginning of their long camp in Antigua and Barbuda.
The government had assured that all the staff members and players in CWI are inoculated with the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and CWI is also supporting the government’s efforts to raise awareness of the significance of the vaccine to protect people from the virus.

The country has registered 1,240 total cases and 32 death, out of which 1,179 people have been successfully recovered from the virus. There are currently a total of 29 positive cases of COVID-19.
The government has also collaborated with private partners to promote awareness of vaccination in the country.
