Saint Lucia: The festival of joy Christmas has come to a happy end. On this special day, politicians, departments and authorities of Saint Lucia took to social media to share their wishes with the general public.
Along with government officials, many unofficial Facebook pages also joined hands and wished the public on this auspicious occasion.
Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Philip J Pierre, also extended wishes along with a glimpse of his Christmas celebrations. While extending good wishes and prayers, PM Pierre noted, “It is always good to be in the House of the Lord and especially on Christmas day. Let us celebrate the birth of Christ and remember His redeeming grace in our lives. Merry Christmas, my brothers and sisters.”
Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture and Information, Ernest Hilaire, expressed his best wishes towards the Saint Lucians and the residents of his constituency Castries South.
The social media post by Deputy PM Hilaire read, “Merry Christmas to all Saint Lucians and my constituents of Castries South. May you have a safe and prosperous Christmas day, and all the best for the New Year!”
Furthermore, Saint Lucia Fire Service extended their wishes on the occasion of Christmas 2022. “Merry Christmas! Have a safe and prosperous season!” it stated.
The Ministry of Tourism of Saint Lucia wished, “From the staff of the Ministry of Tourism Saint Lucia to you, Merry Christmas!”
Additionally, the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) for Saint Lucia also wished a happy and joyous Christmas to people across the world. “Merry Christmas! Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) wishes everyone a joyous Christmas filled with love, happiness and peace, and best wishes to all of you and your beloved ones,” the social media post read.
National Trade and Promotion Agency, Export Saint Lucia also expressed their joy and stated, “We wish you a Merry Christmas! May your day be filled with happiness and togetherness! Best wishes from the entire Export Saint Lucia team!”
The Management and Staff of the Ministry of Education, Sustainable Development, Innovation, Science, Technology and Vocational Training conveyed their message to the public and said, “Good tidings and good cheer to all on this Christmas Day. Seasons Greetings!”
Travel and leisure account Discover Saint Lucia also took it to social media and said, “Merry Christmas to all!” Saint Lucia Labour Party Women’s Organization also joined the league and wished, “Merry Christmas from the Dennery South Women’s Group!”
Further, Winners Chapel International, Saint Lucia, also poured wishes on the general public. The social media post stated, “MERRY CHRISTMAS! Today December 25, is CHRISTMAS DAY, where we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, God’s Ultimate love–a gift to the world. May all that His arrival on the earth represents the answer in each of our lives as we celebrate Him today. Amen!”
