“We will rise again”, says PM Dickon Mitchell to encourage citizens following Beryl
The Prime Minister of Grenada, Dickon Mitchell extended support to all his countrymen and stated that this tough time will not last longer and “we will rise.”

                                                    Grenada: The Prime Minister of Grenada, Dickon Mitchell extended support to all his countrymen and stated that this tough time will not last longer and “we will rise.” He said that in the wake of Hurricane Beryl, the beloved islands of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique stand resilient and are ready to fight against all odds.
He stated that this journey ahead is more than just rebuilding homes and infrastructure; it is about restoring hope, unity, and the vibrant community that defines them. While motivating people, he noted that they together will overcome this adversity, and will build schools, homes and lives with a vision to tackle all the challenges being faced by them due to the devastating effects of Hurricane Beryl.
Moreover, he also urged the citizens to help them in their crucial journey of recovery. He asserted that every contribution, every helping hand, and every act of kindness brings them one step closer to a brighter and stronger future. He also asked all his citizens to stand united and show the world the indomitable spirit of the people of Grenada that whenever they come together, they can achieve everything.
Along with that, he also extended heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers and everyone who supported, contributed and offered assistance to the brothers and sisters both on the mainland and on sister isles. PM Mitchell stated that he is grateful for the outpouring of support from all the corners.
“Together, we will overcome, together we will rebuild,” noted PM Dickon Mitchell.
He further asserted that the devastation from Hurricane Beryl has tested their strength but cannot break their spirit. The leader of the nation also expressed delight in witnessing the faith that the citizens of the island nation have kept in the Government of Grenada and stated that they are making every possible effort in order to help the affected people.
Also, he extended gratitude to all the neighbouring Caribbean countries for their donation and support for the well-being of the citizens of his nation.
