The port authority of the US Virgin Islands considered the day as the busiest cruise ship day. While taking to their official Facebook account, the authorities of the Port mentioned “Wednesday, February 28 is another busy cruise ship day for the USVI with ships at both cruise ports in, St Croix. A and St. Thomas and in Frederiksted warm VI welcome to all our guests.”
The cruises that graced the shores of the island nation included,
- Celebrity Apex in Crown Bay.
- Icon of the Seas in Crown Bay.
- Carnival Magic in WICO.
- Norwegian Escape in WICO.
- Vision of the Seas in Frederiksted.
The frequent arrival of cruises to the nation is a huge boost for the tourism sector of the island nation. The cruises welcomed many passengers and they disembarked to explore the beautiful island nation.
Moreover, a total of 11 cruises were docked on Tuesday, 20th and Wednesday 21st February, 2024. These visits of the cruises reflect the significant efforts by the tourism authority of the US Virgin Islands in enhancing the sector and generating huge amounts of revenues for the island nation.
