St Kitts and Nevis: St Kitts-Nevis Labour Party has been all set to contest in the general elections, which will be conducted in 2025. This can be stated because the political party has started electing new candidates from different constituencies.
Recently, on April 3, 2022 (Sunday), two newcomers were welcomed by Dr Terrance Drew, SKNLP Leader. The new candidates have been elected for Constituency 2 and Constituency 4, replacing Marcella Liburd and Steve Wrensford, respectively.
For Sunday, constituency number 2 has been handed over to Marsha Henderson, and Samal Duggins will handle constituency number 4.
While sharing the first platform presentation, the political party stated, “Just in case you missed it, yesterday, April 3, the SKNLP held a massive block party and candidate launch, where Dr Terrance Drew, SKNLP Leader, officially revealed the newcomers to the already incredible slate of candidates.
Lawyer Marsha Henderson has accepted the call and will represent the people of constituency number two as the candidate for the St Kitts-Nevis Labour Party.”
The political party also shared the first presentation of Samal. “Samal Duggins was also revealed as the SKNLP candidate for constituency number four.
Samal has long been a vital player in the political landscape of SKN and truly believes that people should be first. It is for this reason that he decided to step up to the plate and serve as a representative for the people of Constituency number 4.”
The new candidates were launched during a massive event hosted at the Cuna Parking Lot, Basseterre. The launching event was attended by thousands of hundreds of supporters.
