St Kitts Agriculture Ministry to host Agriculture Open Day
The Ministry of Agriculture, St Kitts is all set to host the Agriculture Open Day on April 25 and 26, 2024 that is Thursday and Friday at Royal Basseterre Valley National Park.

St Kitts and Nevis: The Ministry of Agriculture, St Kitts is all set to host the Agriculture Open Day on April 25 and 26, 2024 that is Thursday and Friday at Royal Basseterre Valley National Park.
The timings for both the days are different, on April 25, it will start at 9am and 8pm. However, for April 26, the timings are for 9 am to 10 pm. The agriculture open day will include all the entertainment, special offers along with food. The Day is being sponsored by Caribbean chemicals, ECGC, SKELEC, Royal Logistics, SKCU and many others.
Under the entertainment, there will be certain competitions included that will spread the essence of fun and excitement to the ones participating in the open day. There will be four activities, which are as follows:
- Watermelon Eating Competition
- Roast Corn Eating Contest
- Horseback Riding, and
- Technical Demos
Even this is not the limit for entertainment; several of the performers as well will be featured and their names are:
- DJ Shaggy
- Hellfire Sounds
- EK Real Right Entertainment
- Nu Vybes Band International
Probing ahead, under the open day, the food which will be offered to the ones present at the event would enrich their taste buds. As the deliciousness from the grilled seafood, fresh fish and tree mutton would offer them with an exceptional level of taste.
And, the fresh produce, agro processed goods and ornamental plants as well will be the part. The admission price in the market is $5.00XCD for all, the children in uniform can get the free entry.
“From crops to livestock, to live demonstrations, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Don’t miss out on this exciting event,” mentioned the Agriculture Ministry.
Such a statement provides information on how exciting the day is going to be. The live demonstrations as well would present the idea for the fun to be held.
