Trinidad and Tobago: UNC leader Kamla Persad was agitated on National Security Minister Stuart R Young. She strongly condemns his plan of action and works. Recently, Stuart R Young presented consecrated colour to T&T Fire Service.

National Security Minister Stuart R Young M.P is appealing to members of the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service (TTFS) always to remember how important a role they play in the national security and public safety apparatus of Trinidad and Tobago.

Minister Young gave the suggestion as he addressed the feature address when he presided over the ceremony for the consecration and presentation of color (Flag) of the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service (TTFS), which took place at the Grand Stand, Queen’s Park Savannah in the port of Spain on Sunday, January 24, 2021.

Minister Young told fire officers that he recognized the sterling contribution that all members of the nation, as they go beyond the call of duty dedicating their lives to the continuous safety of us all, especially during this time of the coronavirus pandemic.
He stated that we at the Ministry of national security have a right to be proud of our men and women in uniform from all our Divisions. Despite all the criticisms and the attacks that are directed at national security. We continue to do our jobs fearlessly, without fear or favor, malice or ill will, to protect the nation, and you, the members of the fire service, play an essential part.
The Minister further assured the members of the fire service that they had the full support of the government of T&T, which will continue to supply the TTFS with the requisite technology, equipment, infrastructure, and other resources so that the organization can carry out its responsibility to the people effectively and efficiently.
