Saint Lucia honoured with Best Emerging Culinary City 2024 at World Culinary Awards

Saint Lucia bagged another accolade on an international platform, claiming the title of the Best Emerging Culinary City 2024 at the prestigious World Culinary Awards. This recognition highlights the unwavering commitment and dedication of the tourism authority towards elevating the overall experience of the visitors with its diverse and exceptional offerings.

The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority expressed gratitude on winning this prestigious award and stated that such acknowledgement shed light on the rich and diverse gastronomic landscape of the island nation.

They noted that they are adamant to offer all their visitors with the delights which are beautifully fused in culinary traditions of the nations including, French, European, Indian, African, Spanish, and Asian.

After winning this prestigious honour at the World Culinary Awards 2024, the CEO of the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, Louis E.A. Lewis stated that it is truly a remarkable honour for Castries. He added that such recognition celebrates not only the unique culinary identity but also the hard work of the talented chefs and independent restaurateurs of the country.

While acknowledging the work of the chefs and restaurateurs, the CEO mentioned that they have been making several dedicated efforts with a vision to offer unforgettable dining experiences to all the visitors.

He added that the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority is committed to making an ultimate experience for all the attendees, by offering them to savour the extraordinary flavours of the Castries and Saint Lucia.

Moreover, the Orlando’s Restaurant and Bar of Saint Lucia was also honoured at the internationally acclaimed World Culinary Awards 2024. They were acknowledged with the title of the Best Restaurant of Saint Lucia 2024, marking a huge impact with the diverse offerings and hospitality.

The owners of the Restaurant stated that this recognition earned by them outlines their commitment towards celebrating and fostering Caribbean cuisine made with local flavours and ingredients.

The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority noted that they are extremely grateful on winning this recognition as it not only enhances their reputation but also boosts their confidence and spirit. The authorities added that such acknowledgement inspires them to do the best of what they have been doing and elevating the profile of Saint Lucia as a tourism destination on a global map.
