After participants tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, the Grand Finale of Miss World 2021 has been postponed to March 16, 2022. The event will take place in Puerto Rico.

World: After participants tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, the Grand Finale of Miss World 2021 has been postponed to March 16, 2022. The event will take place in Puerto Rico. 

The grand finale of the pageant was scheduled for December 16, 2021, which was cancelled for safety reasons. 

Julia Morley, president of Miss World Ltd, while expressing her excitement, cited, “We are so damn excited for staying in Puerto Rico to crown the upcoming Miss World. We have been swamp by the support shown by the people here”. 

“The countdown and final planning have begun. Our team is ecstatic that we will show all the wonders that Puerto Rico has to offer as a premier tourism destination to the entire world. We love Puerto Rico,” she added.

People who purchased tickets for December 16 would not be required to buy another one for the rescheduled date. 

The participants are expected to return back to Puerto Rico soon for the crowing of Miss World.
