Police investigates mysterious death in Guyana, body found no marks of violence 

Georgetown, Guyana: A 20-year-old miner, a resident of Kako Village, Upper Mazaruni died in a mysterious death. The authorities found no marks of violence on the lifeless body of the deceased and are probing the matter. 

The deceased has been identified as Adrian Steve Stephen was working under a 44-year-old female at a mining operation at Rock Point Backdam, Jawalla Village, Upper Mazaruni. 

As per the details shared by the authorities, the workers of the mining operation finished their work and they returned to the camp. Subsequently, it was revealed by Stephen’s friend that he did not eat anything for breakfast, lunch and dinner on the day of his mysterious death. 

According to the reports, Stephen screamed in his sleep which resulted in waking his friend. Following that, when his friend woke up to see if Stephen was fine, he thought the reason for his scream could be a bad dream. However, when he went close to him, he found him motionless. As soon as he saw his body lying in an unconscious manner, he informed his other colleagues about the incident. 

They immediately alerted the police and informed them about the matter and the body of Stephen was later examined by a nurse in the presence of a detective and they pronounced him dead. 

According to the details, the dead of the victim is currently lying at Kamarang District Hospital Mortuary and is awaiting a post-mortem examination to find out the real cause behind the death of Stephen. 

This incident shocked all the officers and colleagues of Stephen about his sudden and unfortunate demise. The authorities have promised to conduct a thorough investigation to find the real reason behind this mysterious death. 

Several residents of the nation took to their social media accounts and expressed their opinions on the incident and extended condolences to the deceased. 

One person commented “He must have had a Health problem that needed medical attention; it could be a seizure. Unfortunately, it is too late. May his soul RIP.”
