  • Section C continues from Soesdyke Junction to the Timehri Junction near the Timehri Police Station.

The roadway will be upgraded to a two-lane highway with enhanced safety features such as sidewalks and cycle lanes in order to cater to vulnerable road users such as cyclists and pedestrians. Along with that the Ministry also aims to installed thermoplastic road markings, LED street lighting, and traffic signs in order to enhance safety and security of the commuters.

The Ministry has also made a comprehensive traffic management plan to ensure the smooth flow of traffic in order to avoid any hurdles and problems. The construction will begin in Section B, where there is enough space to accommodate ongoing work without any disruption. Also, one lane of traffic will remain open at all times, ensuring maintenance of two lanes.
