Two men arrested for multiple charges related to robbery in Cunupia
Two men, namely Keston Shalto and Jaheem Greenidge, were apprehended on a series of charges relative to Robbery in Cunupia.

Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago: Two men, namely Keston Shalto and Jaheem Greenidge, were apprehended on a series of charges relative to Robbery in Cunupia.
Two men appeared before a Magistrate on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, to answer several charges, including,
– Possession of a Firearm
– 3 counts of shooting with Intent
– Burglary
– Possession of Ammunition
– Assault with Intent to Robbery
– Robbery with Violence
– Possession of a Firearm to Endanger life
– Possession of Ammunition to Endanger life
– Robbery with Aggravation
– Shop Breaking with Intent
Both Shalto and Greenidge of Almond Court Morvant were arrested and charged during an exercise conducted in the Central Division by officials of the Couva Police Station relative to a Robbery on Friday, November 24, 2023.
Notably, this is not a new case that occurred in Trinidad and Tobago as recently, on November 28, police officers arrested three suspects and seized firearms, ammunition, illegal narcotics and camouflage during crime eradication exercises.
It is to be noted that several Drug Blocks in the Princes Town areas were targeted, and many persons were searched. As a result, they managed to arrest three persons,
– A 21-year-old labourer of Lere Branch Road Princes Town was charged by PC Gervais for the offence of Possession of ammunition and firearm.
– A 33-year-old labourer of King Street, Princes Town and Punnette Avenue was apprehended by PC Gervais for the offence of Possession of a firearm and ammunition.
– A 39-year-old labourer of Indian Walk Moruga Road was taken into custody for the offence of wearing camouflage clothing.
The alarming rate at which crimes are being committed in the nation is a critical issue for authorities as public pressure is mounting.
There is a need to regulate strict laws and rules against such crimes to safeguard the lives of people and the prosperity of the nation at large.
