5.6% children vaccinated against COVID-19 in St Kitts and Nevis
As per the COVID-19 vaccination report, till 21 September, 5.7 per cent of the children population has received their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine in St Kitts and Nevis.

St Kitts and Nevis: As per the COVID-19 vaccination report, till 21 September, 5.7 per cent of the children population has received their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine in St Kitts and Nevis.
The report further states that around 66.3 per cent that is 21,916 individuals of the St Kitts & Nevis population has received their first jabs of the COVID-19 vaccine, whereas a total of 75.2 per cent of the SKN population has taken its second dose and is fully vaccinated now, as of 21 September 2021.
A total of47,022 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered on the twin islands as of 21 September 2021, out of which in total 35,958 doses have been administered on St Kitts while around 11,064 doses have been administered on Nevis island.
In addition, the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis – Dr Timothy Harris, is also encouraging the citizens to take doses of their COVID-19 vaccines as soon as possible in order to fight and defeat the deadly mutant.
The government of SKN has asked its citizens to strictly follow the COVID-19 health protocols and measures such as – wearing masks, frequently sanitizing, maintaining social distance.
The SKN government has also provided COVID-19 hotline numbers for the citizens – (869) 467-1146/1233 (St Kitts), (869) 469-5521, 2035/2051/(869) 469 -8010 (Nevis island).
According to the statistics, worldwide, as of 21 September 2021, globally, a total of 3,442,086,090 individuals have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, that is 44.1 per cent of the world’s population, while in total, 2,519,101,512 individuals (that is 32.3 per cent population) have received their second dose of vaccine and are now fully vaccinated against the deadliest mutant that has severely impacted the lives of people since 2019.
This COVID-19 outbreak has mostly affected the economy and tourism sector of the nations in the Caribbean region.
