TTMS shares weather update for Trinidad, Tobago, Grenada and the Remainder of the Lesser Antilles.

Trinidad & Tobago Meteorological Services (TTMS) shared that the people of Trinidad, Tobago and Grenada may experience partly cloudy to cloudy and breezy weather with few light to moderate showers.

Notably, there is a 20 per cent lower chance of isolated heavy showers or thunderstorms. The conditions are expected to become increasingly settled by the evening.

It is to be noted that gusty winds, flash flooding and landslides may occur in or near the heavy showers in the prone areas.

The Remainder of the Lesser Antilles

The weather conditions will remain sunny and breezy despite brief isolated rainfall. The Night may witness generally fair despite the odd shower.

Marine Forecast: As per TTMS, the seas will remain moderate.

Waves Forecast: The waves are forecasted to range between 1.5 m to 2.0 and occasionally up to 2.5 m. However, in the covered or sheltered areas, it will remain under 1.0 m.

Air quality

The air quality is generally acceptable for the majority of people; however, the sensitive groups may face minor to moderate symptoms from long-term exposure.

It is to be noted that there will be a mild or moderate concentration of Saharan dust across the regions of Trinidad and Tobago.
