TTMS shares breezy weather with odd showers for T&T, Southern Windwards

TTMS shared that the people of Trinidad, Tobago and The Southern Windwards may experience partly cloudy and breezy weather with odd showers.

Trinidad & Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) shared that the people of Trinidad, Tobago and The Southern Windwards may experience partly cloudy and breezy weather. 

There is a chance of a few light to moderate showers during the day, and tonight will be settled despite the odd shower. 

The Remainder of the Lesser Antilles

As per TTMS, people may witness a fair and breezy morning, gradually becoming partly cloudy with showers favouring the Northern Windwards. The conditions are expected to continue into the night.

The seas are forecasted to remain moderate to rough. Additionally, marine interests are advised to exercise caution. 

Waves Forecast

The waves in Southern Windwards in open water may exceed, and they might range between 1.5 m to 2.5 m, and they will remain 1.0 m in the sheltered or covered areas.

The people may experience predominantly sunny and breezy conditions. However, there is a twenty per cent (low) chance of a brief showers. The night will be fair and cool. 

Air quality

The air quality is generally acceptable for the majority of people; however, the sensitive groups may face minor to moderate symptoms from long-term exposure.

It is to be noted that there will be a mild or moderate concentration of Saharan dust across the regions of Trinidad and Tobago.

Additionally, on January 7, people of Trinidad, Tobago, and The Remainder of the Lesser Antilles witnessed mostly fair weather, which was breezy at times and was interrupted by a few cloudy patches accompanied by brief light to moderate showers. 

Moreover, the nighttime was mostly fair despite the isolated shower. 

The marine remained moderate, and the waves in the open waters exceeded 1.5 m to 2.0 m, and it was nearly 1.0 m in sheltered or covered areas.
