Sprinter Usain Bolt named as ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Ambassador
ICC announced Usain Bolt, a renowned Jamaican sprinter as the ambassador for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup which will be played in the West Indies and the United States from June 1-29, 2024.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced Usain Bolt, a renowned Jamaican sprinter as the ambassador for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup on Wednesday. The tournament will be played in the West Indies and the United States from June 1-29, 2024.
According to the report Bolt, who was initially interested in cricket before turning to athletics expressed his gratitude for the opportunity given to him. He said that he is excited to play his part in the tournament.
While speaking in an interview with ICC he remarked that, “I am thrilled to be ambassador for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.”
The sprinter further said that he is extremely grateful for being a part of such prestigious tournament and he is looking forward to bring his vibrant energy to the World Cup.
“Coming from the Caribbean, where cricket is a part of life, the sport has always held a special place in my heart, and I am proud to be part of such a prestigious tournament. I look forward to bringing my energy and enthusiasm to the World Cup and contributing to the growth of cricket globally,” added athlete.
T20 tournament is not less than a treat for the people in Caribbean. Various well-known artists across the world will grace the stadium with their energetic and electrifying performances.

Notably, the final match is scheduled to be held on 29th June.
